Mercy Without Borders: Walking in Solidarity with Immigrants
We are excited to share a first look at the 2025 Mercy Education Conference, taking place October 9–10 in Burlingame, California!
Grounded in the Gospel and the Sisters of Mercy Critical Concerns, this year’s conference—Mercy Without Borders: Walking in Solidarity with Immigrants—calls school leaders and educators to reflect on the urgent realities facing immigrants today. Together, we will explore how our Mercy communities can respond with compassion, courage and a renewed commitment to justice.
We are honored to welcome Dr. Arturo Chávez, Assistant Vice President of Mission, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Incarnate Word University, as our opening speaker, and Sr. Norma Pimentel, MJ, Executive Director of Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley, as our closing speaker.
We encourage schools to begin planning now for participation in this transformative gathering.
