2026 Lenten Resources for Mercy Schools

As we prepare for the sacred season of Lent, we share the following resources for our Mercy school communities:

The Sisters of Mercy will share reflections on the Stations of the Cross through Lent, beginning on Ash Wednesday (February 18, 2026).

The Sisters of Mercy invite all members of our Mercy community to consider participating in the Nuns Against Gun Violence Fast to End Gun Violence. Their Lenten Fast Commitment Form is available here. The Sisters of Mercy are a proud member organization of Nuns Against Gun Violence. 

Mercy International Association invites you to an online facilitated retreat entitled “Walking in Mercy” on February 17, offered at two times: 10 am Dublin Time (5 am ET) and 2 pm Dublin Time (9 am ET). The retreat will be offered by Caroline Thompson, MIA’s Head of Heritage and Spirituality. Learn more and register here.

Lessons in Lent from Global Sisters Report in the Classroom includes a six-part study of Lenten Gospel passages. Each lesson includes prayer, action ideas and teacher guides. The intended age group is middle school and high school students.
